World Islamic Call Council issues final communiqué at the end of its 20th session in Istanbul – Turkey

This document was published on WICS’s website on May 5, 2010. It described WICS meeting held in Istanbul (Turkey) on April 25-27, 2010. Both dates are mentioned on the first page.
At the beginning of the text, four dignitaries who attended the opening ceremonies are identified:
Mr. Farouk Calic – Turkish Minister of State for Religious Affairs;
Mr. Mohamed Qurmaz – Vice Chairman of Religious Affairs;
Dr. Abdel Aziz al-Tweijri – Director General of the Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization ((ISESCO);
Dr. Salim Hun – Representative of the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (now Organization of Islamic Cooperation – OIC)
At the end of the document, members of WICS executive committee are identified as follows:
Sheikh Qureshi Nias – Africa;
Sheikh Mohammed Sadiq Yusuf – Asia;
Sheikh Salah al-Din Al-Mustawi – the Arab World;
Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa Ayoub – the Americas;
Ms Nora Zaccai – Europe;
Mohamed Ahmed Sherif – WICS Secretary-General (Identified by his title but not by name);
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Goheil – Rapporteur-General
The last paragraph of this text reads as follows:
At the conclusion of its proceedings, the Council sent a cable of thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and to Brother Mu’ammar Al-Gaddafi, Leader of WIPL.
